B.I.G. Babies!

We went for our belated 6 month well visit today. It is actually closer to a 7 month well visit since the babies will be 7 mo. old on August 14th. These babies are BIG - much bigger than Malloy was at this age. Here are the stats:

Gardner-

Weight 19 lb 4 oz (75th percentile)

Height 27 5/8 inches (75th percentile)

Maisey-

Weight 18 lb 2 oz (90th percentile)

Height 27 3/8 inches (95th percentile)

Since they are actually closer to 7 months than 6, I plugged these numbers into an online percentile calculator and Gardner's height/weight is in the 50-75th percentile range and Maisey was more around 75th percentile. We go back at 9 months for another well visit and the flu shot.

At 6 months, Malloy was only 15 lbs 7 oz and 26 1/4 inches tall.

The babies did really well. Of course, they did not enjoy the shots (3) but they recovered pretty quickly and are now resting peacefully.
