Jesus Loves Me

Below is a video of Malloy singing her favorite song. It was dark so you can't see any of her facial expressions. She was singing into a mini-broom. I'll work on getting a better quality recording of her performances.

Galveston Trip

This weekend we drove down to Galveston, TX with our friends Kris and Lindy. This was Malloy's first road trip since our drive to Florida last summer. She loves Dora the Explorer so we borrowed some DVDs and a portable player. Kyle glanced back at her while he was driving and said that she looked like she was working on a laptop. She had a very serious and focused look on her face.

Malloy liked the beach and didn't seem to mind the salt water too much.

4th of July

Malloy relaxes in her usual pose while waiting for the fireworks to begin.

She really enjoyed the fireworks. I think this is the first time she has seen them. We bought the ear muffs for the air show, but they came in handy for the 4th. She doesn't like loud noises.

We had a little family swim on Friday afternoon. As you can see below, Malloy is fearless in the pool. While my friends can relax by the baby pool with their 2 year olds, I am chasing Malloy in the deep end while she goes off the diving board or slide.

More Dress Up

Another one of Malloy's new get-ups. Pajama top, Dora the Explorer gardening gloves and knee pads, hand me down shoes that are still 5 sizes to big, playing the trumpet, pushing the stroller, carrying Minnie Mouse.
