Today most of the snow had melted but there was enough for a little snowman. Mally enjoyed eating the snow more than building a snowman.

Christmas - Part 1

There is a movie out right now called "Four Christmases". I think it is quite possible that we will celebrate Christmas more than 4 times this year. Last night we had Christmas - Part 1 in Minden with Kyle's dad. On Christmas Eve we'll be with Kyle's mom, we'll have Christmas morning at our house and then back to Kyle's mom's for a Christmas lunch. On Friday we head to Naperville for casual Christmas/gift opening on Friday night followed by another "Christmas Dinner" on Sunday night.

I finally got around to importing pictures that I have taken with my cell phone. Here are some of my favorites:

Today we went to a bakery that, for some reason, sells hair bows. We decided to get 4 different colors and Malloy wanted to wear them ALL - at the same time!!

We couldn't leave without getting a cookie - especially since Malloy was so cooperative with the hairbows. I tried to take them all out, but Malloy insisted on wearing all of them home.

Malloy is so proud that she can feed herself with a real spoon. She is eating some cinnamon Life cereal with milk for breakfast.

Giddy Up!!

We recently acquired a new plastic plaything for our entirely too small and too toy-filled living room (thanks Aunt Katherine!!). The good news is that now Malloy and her friends can pretend they are cowboys riding on their horses. We do admit that the newly aquired horsey (on left) is superior to the old horsey because it bounces and it includes a safety rail so no one can get bucked off her pony. As soon as Malloy's friend, Cameron, came over the new horsey was the first thing she wanted to play with.

Malloy has a new favorite baby doll named "Tanta". Actually, he is not a baby doll. He's a heavy wooden Santa Claus figurine. Malloy is treating him like one of her many babies and even giving him stroller rides.
