Spring Break!!

We were on spring break last week. Woo hoo!! Actually, school breaks are not very relaxing for me since I still have to go to work AND I have to find alternate child care for my kids all week. Fortunately my parents were here to help babysit and entertain. Having the kids at home all day, all week, during renovations is challenging. It is noisy and there is wet paint everywhere. I am glad we had good weather and got to spend a lot of time outside.

Poor baby had never ridden in a shopping cart before.  What a treat!

Why didn't I know there were shopping carts built for 3 kids?

Construction Continues...

The carpenters, painters, electricians and plumbers have been hard at work this month.  The end of the renovation is in sight!  I think the babies have picked up a few skills during this time.

We are only about 3 weeks away from completion.  I am so ready to have my house back and to start using this extra space!

A Long Month

I can't believe it has been a full month since my last post.  I think that is the longest gap in posts since I started this blog.  It has been a busy month around here.  But there is another reason I haven't posted anything.  My most faithful blog reader, Grandma Gardner, passed away.  She was 88 years old.  She once told me that she checked my blog everyday to see if there were any new pictures of Malloy, Gardner and Maisey.  I am thankful that technology allowed her to keep up with the daily adventures of her great-grandchildren, and I am so glad to have many wonderful pictures of her with them.

Seeing these pictures again is sad for me, but it is heartwarming to see how much she enjoyed her great-grandchildren.
