St. Paul's Graduation

Where are you going, my little one, little one?
Where are you going my baby, my own?Turn around and you're two, turn around and you're four, turn around and you're a young girl going out of the door.

That is chorus of the song that they sing each year at St. Paul's graduation.  Time really has flown by these last two years, and I certainly am sad that our days at St. Paul's are over.
One last picture with Mrs. Yeates
Malloy had Mrs. Yeates for K-4 also.

Maisey is giving her best smug expression as she processes in for graduation.

Unsure about whether she wants to shake hands and accept her diploma from Mrs. Yeates.
Gardner looks more confident about accepting his.
 They sang their hearts out.
The Class of 2016

Grandma and Papa

Spring 2016

Gardner and Maisey wrapped up their soccer season and moved right into tee ball.  Maisey takes it very seriously.  She will outrun all of the boys on the team to get to a ball and tackle them if they're in her way.  Gardner also runs to every ball no matter what position he is supposed to be playing.

Maisey continues her love of LSU and her cowboy boots.
Thumper is still receiving lots of attention.

The whole family is participating on the swim team this year.  Maisey, of course, is taking it VERY seriously.
And we've had a few moments of sibling harmony.

Most Exciting News of the Year!

After 2 months of waiting, we got the good news!  The twins are going to Kindergarten at South Highlands.  We are so excited to have all three kids at one school next year.  Gardner and Maisey were thrilled that two of their best friends also are going to SH with them next year.

The four amigos who started out in the same class at First Presbyterian and then went to St. Paul's are all going to be South Highlands Tigers.

In other exciting 5  year old news, Maisey literally LOST her bottom tooth.  It was very loose.  One day she woke up and said "My tooth is gone!"  We couldn't find it anywhere, so we assume she must have swallowed it.  After the bottom tooth came out, she decided she was ready for the fake top tooth to come out too.  We went to the dentist and she popped it right out.  The tooth fairy came to reward her for the missing tooth and the fake tooth too.

Malloy's 9th Birthday

To celebrate Malloy's 9th birthday, we took a few of her friends for manicures and pedicures after school on May 2nd.

The girls had a great time snacking and being pampered.

Matching flip flops for all of the girls.

After the manis and pedis, we went to Baskin Robbins for cake and ice cream.

A simple and sweet birthday celebration for our 9 year old!

End of Year Bash and Field Day

We celebrated the approaching end of school with the St. Paul's Bash and South Highlands Field Day,

Miscellaneous Spring Happenings

Our beloved babysitter, Ms. Jennifer, has officially retired from babysitting.  Her very own baby is about to arrive.  Jennifer started babysitting for Malloy when she was a year old and she has babysat (almost) every Friday night for the last FIVE YEARS!!  We will miss her.

Gardner and Maisey had their final St. Paul's Easter parade.

We did some egg hunting and met the Easter Bunny.
We went to the hospital to meet Jennifer's sweet baby, Dixie Claire.

 Easter brunch at East Ridge.
 The East Ridge camp out!

Mommy and the twins survived sleeping in a 2 man tent.  Daddy and Malloy decided to pass and wait for their own Indian Princess camp out.
More face painting fun at the Kean Miller family picnic in Baton Rouge.

We paid a visit to Mike the Tiger and the Capitol.
