Merry Christmas 2015!

After the Christmas Eve service, we headed over to the Webbs for dinner and presents.
We told the kids to look surprised.  I think they did a good job!

 Pile of cousins.
 Maisey made friends with Cutter.

Everyone loved their minky soft sleeping bags from Dearie.

Santa brought everyone all access passes to the Independence Bowl.
Gardner was thrilled with this Power Rangers gear, bedroom door alarm and Qixels.
Maisey got a mermaid fin and bikini, some baby gear and Barbies.
Malloy was excited to find her very own laptop, selfie stick and clothes from Justice.

Christmas Program

Maisey was in rare form before her Christmas program at school.  And by "rare form", I mean she was smiling like a normal person!!  She has a terrible fake smile that comes out whenever anyone points a camera or phone at her.  Since she was feeling so photogenic, I had to take advantage.
Gardner, on the other hand, seemed to have the fake smile problem that morning.
Below, you will see the twins were back to their typical expressions for the performance.  Maisey had her signature scowl and Gardner was sweet and playful.

 Happy Birthday Jesus!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

My 9 foot tree was almost too tall for my 9 foot ceilings!

We learned that even if the cookies don't look perfect, they taste good!

 Decorating gingerbread houses at school...

..and another one at home.
We saw our favorite Santa one more time to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted for Christmas.

Miscellaneous Fall Fun

According to the pictures I took with my phone, here's what happened this fall.....

The McInnises were officially documented in the new church directory
Gardner assisted in the ribbon cutting for the renovated Historic South Highlands fire station.

He even got to slide down the pole
Maisey and Gardner climbed all over the fire truck and tried on the gear.

Maisey wanted to look just like me at bedtime - complete with the glasses and towel turban.
She found an interesting use for those little baseball helmets that ice cream sundaes are served in.
I turned around to find Nick Saban in my bed one day.  Scary!

Gardner debuted his "sharky" new hair style.
We wrapped up our first season of soccer and received TROPHIES!
