Headband or blindfold?

One of Malloy's favorite activities is opening the bathroom cabinets and taking everything out. Today she came across one of my headbands and decided to try it on. I thought it looked very cute as a headband, but Malloy enjoyed wearing it over her eyes instead.

More from the Beach

We are home from the beach. Above are some of my favorite pictures from Aunt Katherine's camera.

Dance Party

Malloy's cousins performed for all of us while we were at the beach. Malloy got in on the action too and kept turning around in circles while the music played.

At the Beach

Malloy enjoys the view from the condo.

Trying to snap a photo of Malloy and her cousins. She decided to walk off the photo shoot.
Relaxing in the mini-beach chair.

Malloy enjoyed her first trip to Destin, Florida. She took a while to get used to it, but by the last end of the trip she was almost enjoying the sand (except when she fell down and refused to use her hands to push herself back up).

Malloy enjoys terrorizing Cleo. This includes petting her with foreign objects, forceful petting, and tail pulling. Cleo is a really great sport about it and never acts even the slightest bit upset. Fortunately, Cleo is smart enough to get out of Malloy's reach when she's had enough.

Hats

Malloy does not like wearing anything on her head. This includes hats and bows (previously discussed in another post). It really would be beneficial if Malloy would agree to wear a hat when we're out in the sun. In anticipation of our trip to the beach next week, Kyle and I are trying to get Malloy to enjoy her hat. When she puts it on we clap for her and tell her how great it looks. I don't know if this positive encouragement is going to work, but she did keep her hat on for about 5 minutes this weekend.

So Sad!

Isn't this just about the saddest face you've ever seen?

Malloy really does not care for it when she is on one side of the gate and I am on the other.

Malloy & Daddy

Malloy loves when Daddy gets home from work and plays with her.

Yesterday, they had fun playing in the backyard.

Back from Chicago

Malloy found a new place to sit at Grandma & Grandpa's house.

She demonstrated her skills from swimming lessons. She loves to do the "Tick Tock, Cuckoo Clock"

4th of July

Malloy spent the 4th of July in Naperville enjoying a backyard cookout with her family and friends. She had a very patriotic outfit too.

On the 5th, Malloy took her first trip to the zoo. She finally got to see all of these animals that she has been reading out in her books.

Trip to Chicago

Malloy studies the Passenger Safety Information Card during her flight to Chicago.
