I don't know if 8 qualifies as a "tween", but I definitely feel like Malloy is more teenager than toddler. For her 8th birthday, Malloy invited her friend Camille to the opening night of Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour. The primping that went into getting two 8 year olds ready for the concert was on the same scale as getting ready for the homecoming dance in high school. They needed to do their hair, apply lipgloss, put on jewelry and finally, they needed purses.
Of course, we had to buy a Taylor Swift t-shirt and put it on immediately.
For her birthday, the item that Malloy was most excited to receive was a sports bra. I'm telling you, she's growing up too fast!
