If you have ever watched the Dora Halloween DVD, you will understand the title of this post and be signing along to the chant. If not, just trust me, it will get stuck in your head.
The day started out with me getting all Pinterest-y with the kiddos. I was actually surprised how much they enjoyed the vampire teeth and the donuts. If you are going to do nothing but eat candy all day, you might as well start of the day with some Krispy Kremes.

Looking good Maisey!
The twins wore their costumes to school. They were really excited about Halloween this year.
At Malloy's school, the first graders have a fun Halloween event based on a book called Picnic at Mudsock Meadow. The kids dressed in their costumes and participated in activities from the book.
One of the events was pie tasting. I was in charge of making 60 mini pies - one pumpkin, key lime and chocolate for each kid in Malloy's class. Surprisingly, Malloy ate all of them. She is a picky eater except when it comes to sweets. The kids voted and the winner was key lime.
They had caramel apples and a popcorn bar with fun toppings.
Tug of war was one of the events. The kids got really into it. Afterward, they were showing me the rope burns on their hands!
Pumpkin seed spitting was another activity. Malloy was not her class champion but she had good form.
After everyone got home from school, examined the contents of their goody bags, ate more candy, played with Play Doh, fought over the contents of their goody bags, and jumped in the little jumpy for a while to burn off some energy, they got back into their costumes for trick or treating. Malloy decided she did not want to wear the witch costume (despite the fact that I bought it for her yesterday at her request). Fortunately, she had several other costumes in her collection, so she decided to go as Cleopatra for the evening's activities. After seeing a picture of another little girl with the same Cleopatra costume, I now realize we forgot the bedazzled collar piece. I knew something was missing!
I upped the ante this year with the Halloween decorations (all of which I purchased last year for 75% off at Walgreen's). The inflatable ghost was a big hit with the kids.
One of our neighbors had a freaky girl in a swing decoration. The twins were mesmerized.
She was very frightening. In addition to her glowing eyes, she swung back and forth and sang.
We headed to Unadilla Street for trick or treating. Almost all of the houses pass out candy and many of them go over the top with their decorations.
Maisey serenaded Papa with her rendition of Taylor Swift's "Mean" as we walked.
Gardner got a ride on Papa's shoulders and Maisey and Grandma held hands in their matching stripes.
