Easter Festivities

Last Easter, we were up to our ears in eggs.  We had too many Easter egg hunts, in my opinion.  This year was just right.  We started out with the Junior League egg hunt.  Gardner was serious about finding eggs this year.  When they said "Go!" he took off in search of eggs.
 Everyone loved the Easter bunny!
So many eggs (and that terrible fake smile!).
At St. Paul's, they had a special Chapel service, and the children flowered the cross.  Of course, Gardner was playing with his camellia during the service and whipping it around.  This caused the flower to fall off.  Maisey tried to help him salvage his flower so he could put it on the cross.

Then we headed outside for the Easter hat parade.  Gardner's hat was sort of a last minute creation.
Maisey's was made by Dearie and handed down from Malloy.  I had a mild panic attack when I couldn't remember where it was the night before the parade!
After parading, the kids had another egg hunt.  They had to find one egg of each color, so it required a little more thinking than most egg hunts.

On Easter Sunday, we were at the beach!
(Maisey's terrible "sun in the face" smile strikes again)
We had a great time with Grandma and Papa in Gulf Shores.
Fortunately, the Easter bunny was able to find us in Gulf Shores.

We headed to The Hangout for Easter Brunch and got to see the bunny again.
And even hunted for eggs in the sand!

This photo is proof that I was on the trip too!

A rare moment of sibling sweetness.
